Twice Told Tales (1963) - Vincent Price

horror stories based on the writings of Nathaniel Hawthorne. In the 1st
story titled "Dr. Heidegger's Experiment", Heidegger attempts to
restore the youth of three elderly friends. In "Rappaccini's Daughter",
Vincent Price plays a demented father innoculating his daughter with
poison so she may never leave her garden of poisonous plants. In the
final story "The House of the Seven Gables", The Pyncheon family
suffers from a hundred year old curse and while in the midst of arguing
over inheritance, the Pyncheon brother kills his sister.

beautiful female robots, who seduce rich and powerful men. Robot
#11/Diane (Susan Hart) is sent after millionaire Todd Armstrong (Dwayne
Hickman). Secret agent Craig Gamble (Frankie Avalon) tries to stop the
plot but ends up in the torture chamber with Armstrong. The parody of
"The Pit and the Pendulium" is the highlight of the film which also
includes bits by Annette Funicello, Harvey Lembeck and Deborah Walley.
Title song performed by The Supremes. Followed by the sequel "Dr.
Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs" which makes this movie look like "Citizen
Kane."

A
serial killer stalks London, targeting theater critics who he kills in
methods inspired by Shakespeare plays. The police grow to suspect the
killer is Edward Lionheart, an egotistical actor who leaped to his
presumed death after being denied an important award, mainly due to his
refusing to appear in any play not written by Shakespeare. The
remaining critics and the police find themselves helpless to stop
Lionheart's increasingly baroque revenge, though they contact his
daughter in a desperate attempt to find something they can use against
him. Everything builds to a reenactment of King Lear in which Lionheart
will succeed or die once and for all.

The Fall of the House of Usher (1960) - Vincent Price



After
a long journey, Philip arrives at the Usher mansion seeking his loved
one, Madeline. Upon arriving, however, he discovers that Madeline and
her brother Roderick Usher have been afflicted with a mysterious
malady: Roderick's senses have become painfully acute, while Madeline
has become catatonic. That evening, Roderick tells his guest of an old
Usher family curse: any time there has been more than one Usher child,
all of the siblings have gone insane and died horrible deaths. As the
days wear on, the effects of the curse reach their terrifying climax.

tells him that she has just killed her beloved husband Andre Delambre

hand. François calls his acquaintance, Inspector Charas (Herbert
Marshall), and later the reluctant Helene is convinced to tell them
what happened. She explains that François had invented a matter
transportation apparatus, and while experimenting with himself, a fly
entered the chamber, exchanging one hand and the head with him after
the transference.
